Welcome to my websiteWriting stories about families with secrets...
Evelyn Orange is an author from north east England. She started writing short stories while still at school and penned her first novel as a student studying Music and English Literature in Sheffield. After leaving university she spent a year in Hampshire as a trainee librarian, and went on to become a Music Librarian in London. She moved back to her native north-east to work as a music teacher, and also qualified as a Nutritional Therapist. Her first writing success came when she won a romantic short story competition run by the Sunderland Echo newspaper. She has gone on to have several novels published. You can find out more about these by visiting the 'Fiction' page of this website. Her love of music and theatre often influences the themes of her writing, and there are many connections with north east England, as well as other places which she knows well. Evelyn is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association (RNA) and regularly meets with other authors to exchange news and chat. |
